( Once upon a time this would have been a long description of what she's going to be doing.

Then she realized she had to send this to a whole bunch of people, so she got lazy, and: )

Hey, I'm going to take up a missionary position in France! See you again in about a month. Hopefully the snow's not all gone by then!

This is actually somewhat related to the AI investigation... it's way too soon in history to be where the UE found the start of theirs, but it's something to do with the guys who made major breakthroughs in self-aware AI models. Our AI doesn't think it's changed too much with the rest of history, but we won't know for sure until we're there and trying, but, well, it's kind of convenient for me that we get to try at all. It's something I might actually be able to do, and when we know more about the actual AI... maybe it will have helped in the long road!
