( his answer is dispassionate and clinical — )
I imagine I will be able to heal superficial injuries entirely, and stabilize more serious ones. I will be able to accelerate normal rates of healing relative to the individual affected.
The most powerful of the medical shinobi in my world can heal otherwise fatal wounds nearly instantaneously provided they have sufficient chakra.

Change is always a challenge.
[ It's a simple statement, but it means so much. Even some of the smallest changes can be just as hard to adjust to as the bigger ones. And Yzak himself trips up on many of those small ones, still. ]
I can at least offer to do what I'm able to, on that front. Because while I have only the best end-result in mind, I'm not ruling out coming across hardship myself.
But it's like those decorations we put up earlier.

[ He was sort of counting on Blue showing up fairly quickly, especially when he stopped responding, so Jim's ready when he comes by. He invites him in, lets him choose where he wants to sit, then sits beside him, PADD in hand and a small speaker set up on a table nearby. ]
You never answered. Do Mu listen to music?

Oh! Like a guitar?
[ He points to his own acoustic guitar resting near the bed. ]
Yeah, no. You have a lot of types of music on Earth. I do like the kind of music Newt plays and listens to, but I like other stuff too.

No.
( he has no doubt that tsunade senju's chakra reserves, especially with her byakugou, is beyond his. yet, if they had ever needed to fight and for some reason victory was required of him, he would be victorious. even if she had not lost herself to alcoholism and gambling for all those years after the third war, her weaknesses are his strengths. )
It is... aptitude. I have have a lower skill ceiling than someone to whom it comes more naturally. My talent lies elsewhere.
( he can't brute force hax this skill, unfortunately. perhaps if he had ever had an opportunity to observe tsunade with the sharingan he could say otherwise, but it would then be imitation of her skill and not cultivation of his own. )

[ Jim watches Blue mimic the instrument. At first it reminds him of a harp, but it's the position of the hands that makes him think better of it. ]
Oh, a lyre! I have... no idea how to play those kinds of instruments. I can play a few songs in a guitar, but that's about it. I also had a harmonica as a kid, but I could never figure it out.

No? I can play something for you, if you want.
[ There'll be plenty of time afterwards to listen to more music, after all. ]

[ He doesn't mind. In fact, he loves playing for others, so he gets up to fetch the guitar, sitting back down on the bed, turned a little more on his side so he's facing Blue.
He plucks at the strings for a few seconds, thinking of a song, then he smiles as he thinks of something.
It's a soft tune, and Jim's voice is melodic, gentle and sweet to the ear. He doesn't miss a beat, or a note, and he lingers with parts of the lyrics, little bits here and there that make him think of Blue. ]
