Hello Blue,

It was the least I could do after how much you helped me. And of course, that's no problem.

In my home, around these dates, we celebrate the winter holidays. We spend time with friends, with family, and welcome the new year. We exchange presents as a way to show others that we care for them and value having them in our lives.

I've been doing better, yes! No more strange entities had tried to take over my body and my partner is now in Folkmore. That helps a lot.

How have you been doing?

I am well, enough, but...I do have another question. Regarding these cakes... Is there a specific way to have them? Or eat them? [because he got a bit of shade from Itachi for eating dango wrong...]

I don't think so? People either bite into them or cut them into smaller pieces first, because it makes it easier to eat the cake. But it's not an obligation.

I think this kind of cake is best eaten at room temperature. If you leave them in the fridge, taking them out about 30 minutes before you want to eat them would be a good idea.

Jayce wouldn't have said anything if Blue had chosen to eat the mooncake by dunking it in coffee first or something. Blue's food, Blue's right to eat it in whatever ways he saw fit. But the mention of Yak got him curious.

Oh, we've talked and met a couple of times in the past. Are you and Yzak good friends?

Oh! That's very sweet. I know what you mean, my partner arrived in Folkmore recently as well. I don't know what I'd do without him either.

It's some comfort, isn't it? In being trapped against our wills...we at least have some of our most precious bonds to sustain us.

They say that misery loves company. But yes, it is more than just having company. A partner who you can trust and who gets you...that is priceless.

[ Jayce had already fucked up that bond in the past, he is trying his best to amend things. ]

Are you a coordinator like Yzak, then? [ Jayce here is assuming that all the pretty white haired boys they are from the same world. ]

No, that is his gift alone. We aren't from the same universes of origin; we met in another...foreign to the both of us.

It's strange, isn't it? But I think this time around...it's because our lives are bound together. The first encounter may have been much more coincidental.

If that is the case, perhaps the universe truly thinks you belong together. It's a sweet sentiment and a very strong bond.

I will, thank you, Blue.  So far we hadn't had a lot of trouble, but we brought some problems here from our own world. We're working on smoothing them out.

[ To say that guilt is eating up Jayce would be an understatement, but he is handling it the best he can. ]

That's very sweet of you to offer Blue, but most of them are about our relationship. The last weeks in our world were difficult.

I do not, no. Yzak, however... Perhaps he can help. He's helped another here already.

I didn't know he had any magic. I'll contact him if it's necessary, and ask if he wouldn't mind helping.

I'm not sure if he likes me very much, though. He is very...enthusiastic when he speaks.

[ And by 'enthusiastic' Jayce means prone to yelling, but it amuses him. ]

[amused:] That is normal. You'll find that unless he goes out of his way to avoid you, he can take a liking to you. And the opportunity to use that magic of his...he wouldn't miss it.

What, really? I saw him as a cat trying to chase after a bird and he was very cute, so I thought he was annoyed at me for accidentally interrupting his training. But he's very interesting to talk to.
