Ey blue, hi! Are you in your room? I need to tell you something but I'd like to do it in person.
Perfect, I'll be there in a moment, I'm not far from the bedrooms.
[ He's been looking for a suitable one with a double bed to share with Gamora, but that is close enough to his old roommate Peter Parker, because he doesn't want to leave the guy completely alone. But that was the thing, his girlfriend is now in the space station, and after their reunion on the simulation room where they both ended sharing their painful last moment and regrets, things are a bit better. Not perfect, they're both too scarred for that, but better.
A lot better, in fact, and Peter is absolutely thrilled. This is the happier he's been in months, and his smile is honest and real. The grief over what happened on earth is not forgotten nor gone, but for the time being, is smothered under the cozy blanket of love for his very alive girlfriend.
An open door is the best invitation he's going to get, and he doesn't knock on the frame once he gets to Blue's room. He just steps in, a smile on his face and posture relaxed in a way it hasn't been before, as if a big height had been lifted from his shoulders.
Peter is aware of two things about Blue: That he is an empath, in a way stronger than Mantis, and that he hasn't had a lot of good experiences in life. He wants to offer him some, even if it's just about hitching a ride on someone else's happy feelings. And so, he crosses the distance between them once he spots Blue and wraps his arms around his smaller frame, enveloping him in a hug. ]

[psionics can kind of give Blue a leg-up on drop-ins both expected and unexpected, but never in their entirety. that is to say, Blue could sense the buzz of Peter's mind drawing near, acknowledge a peculiar shift in them, but not be completely ready for the cascade when physically pressed upon him.
so while Blue has a chance to get to his feet by the time Peter's filled in the doorway, he has barely a chance to speak a syllable before he's embraced and engulfed twofold.
is he...floating? for a moment, it sort of feels like it; that's the initial effect Peter's Very Good Mood has. and like suddenly floating, it causes something of a startle - a catching of his breath, a tightening of his chest, and a flush to his face.

so while Blue has a chance to get to his feet by the time Peter's filled in the doorway, he has barely a chance to speak a syllable before he's embraced and engulfed twofold.

Hm? [ At first, Peter just hums an answer. He's pretty good at hugs, he likes to think, mostly because he's a big guy that still knows how to be gentle with people. If Blue wants to move away from him, he just needs to pull apart, and he will let him go immediately. If he doesn't, well...hugs and nice touches have always been Peter's brand of comfort.
Blue had helped him in the past when, he was so heartbroken about everything that had happened with Thanos and Gamora that Peter ended embarrassing himself and bawling his eyes out during the movie night. [ Peter can explain what girlfriends are if Blue inquires about Gamora. The way he'd describe her, however, would probably fall more in the category of 'wife'. Peter is stupidly in love with her, and it's been obvious since that day when another empath, Mantis, brought it up in front of the other Guardians. He had been embarrassed then, but once the cat was out of the bag, Peter found that he didn't mind all that much of people knowing about his feelings.
He hopes he's not making this weird, that Blue isn't thinking that he lost his mind. I'm glad for you, Blue says, and on top of the love there's a layer of relief sweeping over Peter's emotions. Good, that's good. [ He leans back when Blue puts some more space between them, smiling down at him. Peter makes a point of not mentioning the flush, although it's very tempting to do so. ]

He doesn't appreciate having his space invaded by people he doesn't like, of course, but if a friend decided to do that - Like Drax when he insisted on hugging him even after Peter told him it wasn't needed- he would just accept it rather than getting angry. Blue is more than welcome to initiate contact. ]
