I mean, who knows what aggravates what, right? It could've been worsened by the sleep sickness. The orbs, the other powered folks, my own stupid choices, it's all factors. But that's not on you I was already a wreck before you floated over, you know? I was stupid and thought I could get up and shake it off like the first time.
Hey, then you and I have that in common. I always worry about the effect of my presence here. What if I make people TOO awesome by them sharing my personal space? 🤘
Anyway, you're not a risk, not anymore than anyone else. I get that it's hard to feel different, though. You've got a big backstory I probably cant even begin to wrap my head around but you're in good hands here, ok?
Not a terrible idea, I'd love to. But what things to start with...? There's so many better parts. The music, the movies, the people. Comic books! Concerts! Handsome women, beautiful men! Tattoos and piercings!
[Man... He'll try. Or at least keep rambling until he gets exhausted again.
So let the rambling commence, huh?]
A good day with those things... Sure, yeah. Back in Boston years ago, I'd wake up and start my day blasting some great tunes out of my apartment window. You ever just get up and fire yourself up with good music? It's a great feeling. I do it here all the time, too.
Then I used to go from home to work — teaching a bunch of smarty-pants college students at MIT. Did you know I was a teacher before everything went nuts back home? I used to teach all kinds of different classes, depending on my mood that year.
Well... They were all different in their own ways. At a place like MIT, people are there trying to carve really big careers out of their time there. Scientists and doctors, engineers and mathematicians. The university is made for osme of the biggest advancements in modern technology. That's where the bulk of my artificial skin replication projects were carried out...
It's just cool to have a lot of people around you with a lot of intelligence. A lot they can give back, and all that. And of course, there's tons of them that are totally eccentric, which works for me, since that's my favorite kind of person.
Yeah. Lotta quirky minds working together for something bigger and better. The PPDC was like that, too. We were dedicated to making things better. Stopping something evil from destroying everything and everyone on the planet.
When you get those kinds of people together for a cause, great things can happen.q

That's all I really want from my friends.

What risk you pose?
You didn't do anything wrong, I posed a risk to my health, not you.
Of course you're my friend, man.

Forgive me, I cannot help but feel the pressure of the effect my senses might have here. The risks.

like
a diary???
A bedside journal?
Letters to myself?
[Not gonna lie, most of it'd just be me writing 'I'm an idiot' a hundred times.]

it also has the bonus of giving Blue some nice things to think about in the meanwhile.]
With how much information swirls in your mind, a teacher does make sense...
What were the students like?
