Daisy isn't far from his room, and she knocks twice on the door before lowering her hand. She's honestly expecting for him to look bad off if someone had to take him back to his room.]

["bad off" is kind of relative, considering he's never looked terribly healthy in general. right now he's just...worn, resting on his side, looking asleep.]

[Right. She almost forgot he could read her mind. Opening the door carefully, Daisy spots him on the bed with his eyes closed.

Stepping inside she closes the door slowly so it doesn't make a sound and then just stands there. Awkwardly. She's not sure if she should sit or what, so she just stands there picking at the corner of her nail.]

What happened? You were there and then...?

[the best he can do to address that unease is to slowly open his eyes and fix them on her.]

Did you feel it? That...horrible sensation. [his brow starts to knit just thinking on it.]

[Daisy wasn't expecting that question, and it shows with how off guard she looks.]

[She doesn't know how to describe it.]

[he closes his eyes, his expression fraught.]

[Daisy says firmly, having seen first hand what it could do to him.]

Do you think something came back with him? From the last mission.

[he opens his eyes again, but they aren't looking at her.]

I don't know. It didn't...feel like anything from there. But I don't know for certain.

[he doesn't answer right away, quietly swallowing as he reflects again.]

...Teeth. Raw...emotion. I don't...remember thoughts. Or words. Just...impulse. Violence. Fury.

[Daisy's trying to figure out the 'whys and hows' as Blue explains what he saw, but she's got nothing.

And it's terrifying.]

Does Dr. McCoy know about this?

I don't know. I don't know if...Yzak spoke to him of it or not.

[Shit. Daisy runs her fingers through her hair as she thinks of her next move.]

[Frowning, Daisy moves over to the small bathroom and is relieved to find a cup in here. Filling it with water, Daisy comes back and holds it out to him.]

Do you want me to call someone for you? You should probably get checked out.

[while she's doing that, Blue sees to getting himself sat up a bit, scooting back against the headboard to free up his hands to accept the cup.]

Let the doctor tend to Newt. I can wait.

There are other people who can come check up on you.

[And maybe they should. He doesn't look too good right now.]

[while sipping carefully:] I won't turn them away.

I don't think I could if I wanted to.

[Daisy sends out a text and almost immediately gets a response.]
